So I realized I'm supposed to be doing my weigh-in entries on Mondays. I've been kind of bad with it thus far because I'm a noob, but today is a Monday and I am doing a weight-in so huzzah! :)

Wellllll, good news. I stepped on the scale this morning expecting to see a weight gain because I had junkish food on Sunday with my housemates (including brownies), but lo and behold, I weigh 140.6lbs. Woot! So, three weeks and 2.4 lbs. Not terrible. As soon as I see myself dip below the 140 mark I'll be quite elated.

This week was a little less in terms of physical exercise. I only had time to go to the gym twice this week due to finals looming and projects. I hit the gym today and I intend on going a bit more this week to make up for a lame last week.

If anyone's wondering my exercise routine consists of 30-40 mins of elliptical machine exercise on a setting 7 (which keeps my heart rate around 150-170 bpm). It's moderately difficult, but doesn't make me run short on breath or feel uncomfortable. I can burn 100 calories per 10 minutes that way. I then try to do some sort of weights (usually abs, back, obliques, etc). I don't do too much weight lifting and tend to take no more than 10 minutes on this part. I then do stretches. That's it!

As for my diet, I've been sticking to my tried and true 1500 calories a day. I eat whatever I want, but I just make sure I'm not eating over that calorie range. I've given up all beverages sans water and diet sodas. Coke Zero, I've found, is a decent substitute. Oh, I'm also drinking Crystal Lite from time to time. It's something my ex-roommate use to drink a lot and introduced me to.

Well, that's really it for this update. I haven't lost any inches yet (and I don't think I will for another 8lbs or so), but I'm hoping I will start soon. :)
